Says Leon on the new Texas dates, “I wanted to get to a few other Texas cities that I haven’t been to in a minute, if ever. The kind of cities that remind me of where I started and what truly matters to me. That connection with your hometown and home state, and the fans that support you every step of the way.”
Leon, set to be released on October 4 via Columbia Records, is available to pre-order and pre-save now HERE. Recorded and produced by Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maggie Rogers) at El Desierto on the outskirts of Mexico City with co-production from Daniel Tashian (Kacey Musgraves) in Nashville, Leon features 13 handcrafted tracks spotlighting Leon’s signature storytelling and organic genre alchemy. Leon unfolds as his most poignant, powerful, and personal body of work to date as the man himself takes you through the streets he knows best, the things he holds dearest, and the memories of the people and place that shaped him. Six years in the making, this record is unmistakably Leon. Full tracklisting below.

ABOUT LEON BRIDGES: As a powerhouse artist, dyed-in-the-wool troubadour, and electrifying performer, GRAMMY® Award-winning Texas-bred maverick Leon Bridges quietly distinguishes himself as a tried-and-true original. With an old soul and a fresh perspective, he creates the kind of records that remain agnostic of era or genre, yet wholly in tune with the energy and emotion of successive generations. Thus far, he has garnered a GRAMMY® Award, achieved over a dozen platinum and gold certifications, stacked up billions of streams, and entrenched himself at the forefront of culture. He’s the rare talent equally at home performing at the White House for Former President Barack Obama or throwing down on a popular Crossroads collaboration with Luke Combs. As a sought-after collaborator, he has impressively joined forces with everyone from John Mayer and Kacey Musgraves to Lucky Daye, Noah Cyrus, Khruangbin and Carin León. Collaborating so far this year with Gunna on “clear my rain,” contributing to the Twister soundtrack with “Chrome Cowgirl,” and even joining Kacey Musgraves on “Superbloom” for the extended edition of her album Deeper Well, Leon continues to position himself as musical chameleon that can bend any genre to fit into his boundless sonic universe. Now returning to the stories that made him on his fourth full-length album, Leon, he introduces his next era, elevating his artistry and vision to new heights once again. |
