Recorded with producer Chris Zane (Jack Antonoff, Passion Pit, St. Lucia), “Walk With Me” is a familiar, bright, expansive embrace that envelops the optimism of starting over again. Though the song may technically be about meeting someone new after a past breakup, it also serves as a welcome call to bring the band back together. “You give me something else to think about…You give me something else to dream about,” vocalist-guitarist Jasmine Rodgers sings. Bassist Alex Caird shares of the song's effortless vibe, “There was a sort of dreamy sound to it. It started with a little guitar part. Usually, for us, if a riff is good from the start, everything will just slot together.” Now, more polished than ever and two decades later, “Walk With Me” has arrived and is available on all digital and streaming platforms here.

After beginning a brief hiatus in the mid-2000s, the members of bôa simply lived life. There was no hostility, no dejection, no gripes. Jasmine studied zoology alongside playing solo performances. Alex threw himself into art, painting, and teaching music. Their drummer Lee Sullivan ensconced himself in his family while writing and producing music. They all kept in touch and their time apart gave them a heap of life’s experiences for a new chapter of music. To celebrate the news of their new single, bôa is heading on tour starting on September 11, playing at Voodoo Room in San Diego and making stops in Los Angeles at The Fonda on September 13, Chicago at Thalia Hall on September 20, New York at Warsaw on September 25, and more before finishing in Washington D.C. at The Atlantis on September 29. A full list of tour dates can be viewed below.
“We have fans who’ve stuck with us, supported us. But the new fans also seem to be in a similar vein really. Our music can be whatever you want it to be. That’s the beauty of it.”
