Academy Award, Golden Globe and Grammy winning singer, songwriter and composer Andrew Wyatt has released a new single today, “Maybe You Know Me Now,” out now on Think Think Think Records / Lowly. “Maybe You Know Me Now,” finds Wyatt grappling with the double-sided pain that comes when the veil lifts to reveal individual flaws: “Everything’s a miracle at first, breaking through the glass it hurts… They say you loathe me now, maybe you know me now.” LISTEN HERE: https://andrewwyatt.ffm.to/maybeyouknowmenow.OPR “Maybe You Know Me Now” follows prior single “Beyond The Pale,” which served as Wyatt’s first solo single in over a decade. Both tracks are set to be featured on Wyatt's upcoming new album, Some Day It Won’t Feel Like Dying, a deeply intimate and personal reflection that takes on the demise of love as its main topic. Wyatt expertly crafts a sonic space that allows him to simultaneously mourn loss and reclaim his sense of self. Ranging in sound and inspiration, Some Day It Won’t Feel Like Dying explores anger, regret, disappointment, confusion, the search for identity, and letting go. Wyatt’s solo work comes on the heels of his much talked about contribution to the biggest blockbuster of the summer, Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. Alongside decorated producer and tastemaker Mark Ronson, Wyatt both composed the film’s score and worked on standout soundtrack hits including Dua Lipa’s #1 charting “Dance The Night”, Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For” and the anthemic Ryan Gosling-led “I’m Just Ken”. Recognized for his prolific and sonically fluid oeuvre, the NYC native’s songwriting and production contributions have secured Wyatt’s status as a generational talent. An awards season sweeper, Wyatt earned widespread exaltation for co-penning the multi-Platinum masterpiece “Shallow”, performed by Lady Gaga for the hit remake, A Star Is Born. As a songwriter/producer, Wyatt has become a go-to for alt-pop stalwarts like Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX, Caroline Polacheck, Flume, Lorde, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Florence And The Machine, Liam Gallagher and Bruno Mars… to name a few. Wyatt's credits also include being one-half of the duo liv with Lykki Li and the frontman and lead songwriter of the indie-pop supergroup behind “Animal,” Miike Snow. The multi-hyphenate has stayed in high demand, crafting hits with the biggest names in pop music and soundtracking + scoring blockbuster films including this summer’s most exciting cinematic release Barbie. With his forthcoming solo project, Someday It Won’t Feel Like Dying, Wyatt reemerges as an auspicious standalone artist poised to embark on another historic era.
