NEW YORK, NY – APRIL 14TH, 2023 – Prior to kicking off the North American leg of “The People’s Tour” next month, Platinum singer and songwriter Quinn XCII releases his latest song “Georgia Peach” today from the deluxe version of The People’s Champ, out now—listen HERE. The track is released alongside the heartwarming prom-inspired official music video, which co-stars TikTok comedians Jake Shane (a.k.a. Octopusslover8) and Salt Hank—watch HERE.
“Georgia Peach” hangs on a fuzzy beat smoothed over by breezy guitar and a head-nodding bass line. On the catchy single, Quinn XCII croons, “She’s my American pie,” with a nostalgic sense of wide-eyed wonder. Between deftly rhymed verses, the track’s chorus instantly captivates as his voice takes flight in lovestruck joy.
Quinn XCII says, “I wrote ‘Georgia Peach’ for my wife, Macy. Like many of my songs, she was the inspiration behind this one, even though she’s in fact not from Georgia nor has any affiliation with the state. Great Gal though.”
On the video, he says, “I always try to find a way to be able to collaborate with my friends in my videos and also show my humor. Jake and Hank truly delivered in their scenes, and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with.”
“The People’s Tour,” featuring special guests A R I Z O N A and Julia Wolf, kicks off on May 4th in Boston at MGM Music Hall at Fenway and includes stops at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on May 6th and Los Angeles’ YouTube Theater on May 24th. See the full list of tour dates below. Tickets are available HERE.
The People’s Champ features Quinn XCII’s singles “Too Late” feat. AJR, “The Lows,” “Let Me Down” feat. Chelsea Cutler (the artists’ sixth collaboration together), “Common” feat. Big Sean, and “Backpack”. Prior to the album release, he delivered an electrifying performance of “The Lows” on The Late Late Show with James Corden—watch HERE. Recently, he sat down with Billboard News to talk about the album and upcoming tour—watch HERE.
The People’s Champ follows Quinn XCII’s 2021 album Change of Scenery II, which debuted #1 on the Apple Pop Charts and Spotify’s US Debut Album Chart. His catalog has amassed over 3.5 billion global streams to date and includes 3 RIAA Platinum and 5 RIAA Gold Singles. Not to mention, he has sold out countless tours, including shows at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York City, The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and many more.
