March 31, 2023 – Nashville singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lydia Luce joins the Nettwerk family, and today she shares her new single “Face and Figure,” where a dreamy and colorful soundscape builds around a vulnerable message of true self-love and acceptance. “Face and Figure” follows Luce’s gorgeous and cinematic 2022 EP Garden Songs, which showcased her penchant for lush arrangements and spellbinding vocal melodies and garnered critical acclaim from the likes of Consequence, Under The Radar, Folk Alley and more. Prior to that was her equally mesmerizing, intimate and acclaimed 2021 full-length album Dark River. “Face and Figure” is the first taste of much more music to come from Luce in 2023. Additionally, she will join Ron Pope on U.S. tour starting April 14th in Austin, TX and wrapping June 3 in Nashville, TN. They’ll link back up in September for UK/EU dates. All date are HERE.   Lydia Luce grew up in a strict musical household where her mother was a professional conductor and did not present learning the violin as a choice. From six years old she excelled in numerous philharmonics but knew her path was not that of a professional classical musician. Instead, Luce found inspiration in combining her accomplished formal education and session work as a studio musician with the personal and emotional content of family, love, and life experience.  In addition to her solo work, she created Lockeland Strings, a Nashville-based community arts organization and a showcase of local artists accompanied by string quartet arrangements, alongside performances of new contemporary classical pieces from local composers. They've been joined by Kacey Musgraves and Lucie Silvas, among others, and partners with nonprofits, including the ACLU of Tennessee, Girls Write Nashville and The Little Pantry That Could.
