"Forever Honey has cultivated a sound that lies somewhere between the rattling Britpop movements of The Charlatans and the more dreamy rhythms of Wild Nothing... Now the band is back with a new double single, offering “Could I Come Here Alone” and “I’m a Winner, I’m a Loser” as further evidence of their growth as both songwriters and purveyors of gauzy heartfelt emotion."

"Rushing out of the gate with their dynamic first two singles, Forever Honey have already proved themselves to be far more than your average alternative band"
– Atwood Magazine

"Price’s vocals imitate the steady monotony of life as seen through a screen, with a static melody line and chugging reverb-laden guitars. Meanwhile, with the chorus, the band’s trademark airy springtime feel comes floating back in on a bed of dreamy synths. Together, the band crafts an effortless placid daydream, only to break the jangly haze with the driving bursts of indelible melodic bliss that bring the track to a close."

"Sprightly but assertive take on jangle pop (think the singable melodies but surefooted rhythms and solid bass of Haim)"
– American Songwriter

Today, Brooklyn-based group Forever Honey shares their newest offering: "Could I Come Here Alone." Dreamy, pensive, and a reflection of the artists' tasteful and deliberate sonic exploration, "Could I Come Here Alone" is about moving on, finding happiness, and embracing change.

Recorded in band member Jack McLoughlin's parents' home in Baltimore, Forever Honey puts together a soulful and powerful couple of tracks, colored with the freedom that comes with creating on their own time. The indie-rock group takes the listener down sonic avenues previously unexplored by the band, utilizing instruments that they "wouldn’t normally think to incorporate, like banjo, pedal steel, and toy pianos."

Produced by McLoughlin, and mixed and mastered by two close friends, Kyle Joseph and Jennica Best, "Could I Come Here Alone" tells a story of deep self-reflection, providing a window into the heart and mind of songwriter and lead singer Liv Price. Forever Honey notes: "Essentially, our entire creative process for this group of songs was based on us wanting to see how far we could take things on our own." The band adds: "This release feels like an unparalleled representation of us, our influences, our style."

Beats Per Minute premiered the release, sharing: "'Could I Come Here Alone' opens with shimmering guitar lines, slight synth decoration, and a casual percussive thump. And it’s all anchored by hazy vocal ruminations of moving beyond the memories of failed relationships and trying to find new ways to process various experiences to change the associations you hold which tie them to those past romantic connections. It’s a slyly persuasive track, one that doesn’t hammer you over the head with its message of reclaiming your identify but allows you to come to your own conclusions about how you want to handle things. It simply provides a starting point for that healing to begin."
