MINI TREES SHARES NEW TRACK “MOMENTS IN BETWEEN” NEW ALBUM ALWAYS IN MOTION OUT SEPTEMBER 17, 2021

photo credit: Danielle Parsons  Today, Mini Trees, the solo musical project of the Southern California born and Los Angeles based songwriter Lexi Vega, shares “Moments In Between,” the latest single from her gorgeous and reflective upcoming debut album, Always In Motion, which will be released on September 17, 2021 via Run For Cover Records. “I wrote ‘Moments in Between’ out of a place of uncertainty and dread when the world started to shut down last March, but the song itself takes place in this dreamy state where I reflect on peaceful memories from my past and longingly look ahead to the future. Writing the song served as a reminder to myself that I’ve been in the midst of trying periods before and made it through, so why not again this time?”

Mini Trees has also announced additional dates to her upcoming US tour. Vega will play New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, and DC, before returning to her hometown of Los Angeles to headline the Moroccan Lounge with support from A.O. Gerber. Raekwon can be found below.  Previously released singles include the driving, upbeat “Carrying On,” the introspective, sweetly dreamy tune “Spring” and the deeply groovy “Cracks In The Pavement.” Always In Motion is a collection of relatable indie-pop songs that acknowledge our collective anxiety about life’s improbability. Vega tells us “Over the course of the album I teeter-totter between having questions and wanting answers, but the resolution is to be okay with not knowing. I think I do find some acceptance along the way, but the album purposefully concludes with no real resolution.”
