NPR MUSIC, TINY DESK CONCERT | “The Washington state native has a voice that we simply don't come across often... this set proved undoubtedly that his voice belongs right up front.”

WORLD CAFE (WXPN) | “Soul singer Allen Stone is an intense performer. His energetic shows, plus his warm and evocative albums, explain why Stone has such a solid fan base.”

INTERVIEW MAGAZINE | “The most soulful, pitch-perfect voice in new American music.”

Today, Allen Stone shared “Where You’re At,” the latest single from his upcoming album APART. Due November 12 via ATO RecordsAPART reimagines some of his most beloved songs to-date, stripping each lavishly arranged track back to the very essence of its creation. “Of all the songs on this collection of recordings, this tune holds a special place,” notes Stone of “Where You’re At.” “I wrote it in a particularly dark period of my life and has since been a consistent reminder to practice gratitude, to search for the silver lining and rest your mind on those things: love where you’re at.” Listen to “Where You’re At” here: https://youtu.be/BTw0t_0TDXU

Stone is also set to highlight the new versions of his tracks on his upcoming North American headline tour, kicking off in December. Stone was also recently hand selected by neo-soul icon Erykah Badu as direct support for her October 24th Las Vegas show. All tour dates are below and tickets are available at allenstone.com, including passes to the APART AAA Pre-Show Experience.

LISTEN & SHARE "WHERE YOU'RE AT"

APART was recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Vance Joy) during the pandemic over the course of three 10-day sessions at the fabled Bear Creek Studios: a converted barn on a 10-acre farm in Stone’s home state of Washington. Not only an ideal showcase for his powerfully emotive voice, the result is a testament to the magic within Stone’s artistry: a profound understanding of music’s potential to imprint upon our lives, and a commitment to creating the kind of songs that endlessly impart wisdom and comfort and undeniable joy. Additional highlights from the 11-track APART include a duet version of “Bed I Made” with Grammy-winning pop star Alessia Cara and his exquisite recently released cover of the Bob Marley classic “Is This Love.”

Raised in the small Washington town of Chewelah, Stone grew up on gospel music and spent much of his childhood watching his parents sing in church. Since making his full-length debut in 2010, Allen has built a devoted following on the strength of his deeply reflective yet wide-eyed and radiant form of soul music. His most recent album, 2019’s Building Balance, was produced by Jamie Liddell and featured contributions from Mike Posner and Emily King, with the video for Consider Me starring Taye Diggs. Stone has appeared on The Today Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! and performed a gorgeous NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert in 2020.

The latest from Allen Stone, APART, is due November 12 via ATO Records and is an album that Stone ultimately views as a document of one of the most fantastically strange moments in his career to-date. Pre-order it here: https://ffm.to/as_apart
