Dark and dreamy with haunting guitars and pulsing synthesizers weave throughout the track, Maria captures the complexity of loving someone who destroys her. She illustrates a painful experience of intense emotions, and how it ultimately leaves her feeling nothing at all. While Maria is aware that this relationship is toxic, she cannot let go, creating a compelling duality of confidence in that awareness, yet desperation in holding on.  “Jaded” follows her previous single “Why Do I”, which was her first release with Repost. “This song is a sequel to the story of my previous single ‘Why Do I’,” notes Maria. “After riding the emotional rollercoaster of a toxic relationship, you’re left with an incurable emptiness in place of all the chaos.
