Sevdaliza shares powerful new song & video for "Martyr"

Sevdaliza shares her new song titled "Martyr" and its companion video as a part of a series of content set to be released in the next few weeks.  The song speaks on a dark romantic relationship and sees Sevdaliza be her most vulnerable and personal yet, making up the "Duorum: Lover's Mourn" chapter.  The series is the result of a period of self-discovery for Sevdaliza and a vehicle for her to obtain peace.  It follows the first installment of the series, "The Darkest Hour", in which she shed a light on the lack of diversity in opportunity for women in the music industry and her position as one of only a few female music producers.  More to come from her soon.

Sevdaliza has become a massive global phenomenon.  Fully independent and unconventional, she has established a global presence as she continues to sell out big shows around the world through her deep connection with marginalized communities.  Her art continues to pierce through the various aspects of culture and the larger music industry a la Bjork.  She's also quickly becoming a major force in the fashion industry.  During this past New York Fashion Week, she was personally invited to walk the runway for Y/Project by its creative director Glenn Martens and invited to sit front row with Anna Wintour, Janelle Monae, Maisie Williams by Thom Browne at his show.

Concept & creative direction: Marlou Fernanda & Sevdaliza
