Today, Quinn XCII returns with his brand new single “Werewolf” ft. Yoshi Flower via Columbia Records.  ““Werewolf” is a song about having an old “somebody” in your life that you fear running into again, and the feelings and emotions you get when you do,” explains Quinn XCII.  “I love the metaphor of the werewolf because it paints such a distinct, exaggerated picture of that encounter. Like a lot of my music, the song speaks on a situation that is a bit more serious, but in this playful demeanor that people can still relate to.”

Quinn XCII has also shared the official video for “Werewolf” today. Watch the video HERE. In talking about the video, Quinn XCII says: “Our director Jason Lester did an amazing job bringing the song to life.  A lot of times when you write such a descriptive song you automatically have this picture in your head about what the song would look like visually, and sometimes that makes it even more difficult to execute.  Jason was really able bring that same vision into the video, even keeping that same quirky personality that I try to implement into the music too.”

About Quinn XCII:
With his ability to seamlessly blur the lines between pop, hip-hop, electronic and soul, Quinn XCII has quickly paved his own lane with his unique sound. He released his debut album, The Story of Us, in September 2017 via Columbia Records.  The album debuted at #6 on the iTunes Pop Chart and is led by rising standout single "Straightjacket", which has accumulated more than 50 million streams on Spotify.  Earlier this year, he released the deluxe edition of The Story of Us, which features four brand new songs – including island-breezy, reggae-influenced song, “Iron & Steel.” He completed back to back sold-out headline tours across North America off the success of the album, selling over 60,000 tickets, and made multiple major festival appearances this summer at the likes of Outside Lands, Osheaga, Governor’s Ball and Lollapalooza. Quinn XCII has also been featured on Gryffin’s ‘Winnebag’(18M streams), Phoebe Ryan’s ‘Middle Finger’ (7M streams), and Louis The Child’s ‘The City’ (9M streams).

About Yoshi Flower:
LA artist Yoshi Flower first appeared in March with his debut track “Movies”. Since then he's released tracks “Just On Drugs”, “Woke” and “Brown Paper Bag”, to name a few. Originally from Detroit, Yoshi was a member of the “cosmic trap” duo Gosh Pith before making the trek to LA and starting his solo career. He met the artist Elohim, with whom he was roommates with. They wrote the track “Panic Attacks”, which was featured on her debut self-titled album. With a sound that’s expansive and unique, he’s not concerned with fitting into one particular genre. With musical tastes that span from 2Pac, Biggie and Eminem to Metallica, Oasis, Bob Marley, Diplo and GRiZ, he blends all of his influences into a mix of glitchy beats, hip-hop rhythms, indie rock and electronica to create a sound that is uniquely him. Yoshi had the opportunity to perform at Bonnaroo last year, the first performance of his solo career, and has opened for artists such as Dua Lipa, Elohim, Washed Out, Princess Nokia, & Flint Eastwood. He recently toured this Fall with Whethan and SG Lewis, making plenty of new fans along the way. Having recently signed with Interscope Records, Yoshi’s debut recording with the label, a mixtape entitled AMERICAN RAVER, was released on October 12th. The mixtape is a collection of songs that he wrote as a way to cope with the crazy happenings in America and in the world right now, stuck at the crossroads between radicalism and utter apathy. With an album in the works for next year and plans to tour the world, it’s safe to say that Yoshi Flower is only getting started. Check out his video for “Just Cuz We're Paranoid Doesn't Mean They're Not Onto Us”, as well as the track “For Which I Dance” featuring Jesse Rutherford from AMERICAN RAVER.
