Dua Lipa’s recently announced headlining tour received an overwhelming response from fans. Most dates including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles sold out in one day, prompting a second date in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium to be added. Her shows in Chicago, Dallas, and Houston have all been relocated to larger venues with double the capacity to accommodate demand (see below for full list of dates). All tickets will be honored at the new venues that have already been purchased by fans. More tickets for the new venues will be available at 12PM CT today.
Currently supporting Bruno Mars on tour, Dua will play the first of two sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday. She will support the tour through September 30th. Dua is also scheduled to perform at the Life Is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas on September 24th, before returning to the UK for several headlining dates. Additionally, Dua will support Coldplay on the South American leg of their tour, after which she will kick off her U.S. headlining tour in November.
Dua’s current single “New Rules” continues to rise after going to radio in the U.S. just a couple of weeks ago. The track entered the Top 40 chart its first week, and has moved up again this week another 4 spots to #28. The video for “New Rules” has garnered over 257 million views, and the track has amassed over 190 million streams on Spotify, with over 3.7 million streams per day on just this platform alone. “New Rules” is currently #4 on the Top 200 chart on Spotify, where Dua is the 12th most listened to artist in the world with over 29 million monthly listeners.
