SOLO DATES RESUME IN SEPTEMBER

 

(New York, NY) Yep Roc recording artist Robyn Hitchcock continues his seemingly endless live schedule with the announcement of a wide-ranging array of upcoming dates.

studio recording and first-ever eponymous release, is available now at all music retailers and streaming services.

First off, the GRAMMY Museum is thrilled to welcome Hitchcock to the Clive Davis Theater for an intimate conversation on his career and latest music. The evening will be hosted by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Scott Goldman on September 26^th and will also include a live performance. Hitchcock will then reteam with longtime friends Yo La Tengo for performances of his classic 1981 solo debut, BLACK SNAKE DIAMOND RÖLE, the first set for San Francisco's The Fillmore on September 29^th and the latter presented by KCRW at the historic Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles on October 1^st.

 

North American solo dates will resume in September, including a two-night stand at Toronto, ON's The Drake (September 21^st and 22^nd) and two sets at New York's City Winery, one being an all-request set. Additional U.S. dates will then continue in November, with shows already scheduled through February 2018. Confirmed dates are listed below.

 

Hitchcock recently toured the States with the Psychedelic Furs, and performed at Happy Valley and Pickathon as well as the 2017 Edinburgh International Festival, where he paid homage to "The Music of The Incredible String Band" in an extraordinary tribute concert curated by Joe Boyd and featuring ISB founding member Mike Heron and bassist Danny Thompson.
