Wilsen Announces Fall Headlining Tour Behind Lp Debut 'I Go Missing In My Sleep' (Out Now On Secret City Records)
"Let Wilsen Whisk You Away Into A Dreamland" - Nylon
Brooklyn trio Wilsen has announced a cross-country summer headlining tour, their first since the release of their full-length debut album ‘I Go Missing In My Sleep’ (Secret City Records). The full list of dates is below and additional shows will be announced soon. Tickets for all of the shows will be on sale by this Friday.
Wilsen has also debuted their music video for “Final” – watch it here:

“Final” is a cerebral folk song set to a pas de deux choreographed by dancer Yury Yanowsky, who is featured in the video along with Rachele Buriassi. Both have featured in the Boston Ballet. Yury was a principal dancer in the Boston Balletfor over two decades, is on faculty at Harvard, and comes from a long line of dancers (he is the son of Anatol Yanowsky and Carmen Robles from Lyon Opera Ballet, and brother of Royal Ballet Principal dancer Zenaida Yanowsky and Dutch National Ballet Soloist Nadia Yanowksy). A jittery camera captures the frantic, fast dance, juxtaposed with the slow, haunting song.
Wilsen, fronted by Tamsin Wilson, released their mesmerizing LP debut in April. Described as “a major revelation” by NPR Music and appointed “the finest folk debut of 2017” by Uproxx, the record captures the fleeting quiet of pre-dawn New York City, brought to life by Wilson’s hushed yet powerful vocals and the intimate instrumental work of bassist Drew Arndt and guitarist Johnny Simon.

Since the release of their debut LP, Wilsen has had a VEVO video premiere (for “Garden”), an exclusive album stream on Stereogum, praise from NPR, Vice Noisey, sessions with Nylon, WNYC Soundcheck, Echoes and more. “Garden” currently has over 3 million plays on Spotify. The trio burst onto the independent music scene in 2013 with the self-released double-EP ‘Sirens,’ and 2014’s EP ‘Magnolia.’ Tours with Daughter, Matthew E. White, San Fermin and shows with London Grammar soon followed.
Wilsen is coming off a set of shows in the US, Canada, and the UK, having shared the stage with musicians like Patrick Watson and Diane Birch.
