JONATHAN RADO OF FOXYGEN SHARES BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT" COVER
BORN TO RUN COVER ALBUM OUT MAY 12 EXCLUSIVELY VIA TURNTABLE KITCHEN'S SOUNDS DELICIOUS SUBSCRIPTION SERIES
Foxygen's Jonathan Rado has shared the second taste of his forthcoming full album cover of Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run, releasing his version of "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out." Consequence of Sound, who premiered the track, say, "Reworking one of rock music's most enduring classics might sound like a crazy idea, but Rado has just the right amount of madness in him to make it genius."
Rado previously shared his cover of "Thunder Road" to praise from Pitchfork, Billboard, Stereogum, Under The Radar, Paste, and more. Rado's Born To Run will be available exclusively via Turntable Kitchen's SOUNDS DELICIOUS subscription series on May 12. The album will be available only on vinyl with original artwork (shown below), limited to 1000 copies. Pre-orders are available now.
