On the heels of their critically acclaimed fourth LP, Running Out Of Love, Swedish pop duo The Radio Dept. share the official “Swedish Guns” (Mythologen Remix) viaCLASH today. The band will kick off their first North American tour since the release ofClinging To A Scheme in 2010 on February 14th. The 20 date run sees Johan Duncanson & Martin Carlberg hitting cities such as New York, Los Angeles, DC, Boston, Philadelphia, and more. A full date listing is below.
Political and especially timely, Running Out Of Love is about the impatience that turns into anger, hate and ultimately withdrawal and apathy when love for the world and our existence begins to falter. The album features lead single “Swedish Guns,” a haunting takedown of the Swedish arms industry, which went #1 HypeM, charted on the Spotify Viral Chart, and gained wide critical praise. Also featured on the LP is acclaimed single “We Got Game”, which was remixed by Henning Fürst, formerly of Sweden’s The Tough Alliance.
Stay tuned for more from The Radio Dept. and be sure to catch their kinetic live show in a city near you. Tickets are available for purchase here.
