The Dead Weather - Jack White, Alison Mosshart, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence - has finally revealed their eagerly awaited new album, DODGE AND BURN. The album is now streaming in its entirety exclusively via the Third Man Records VAULT and global music and entertainment platform, TIDAL . Fans can sign up for a 30-day free trial of TIDAL here . DODGE AND BURN arrives worldwide next Friday, September 25.
DODGE AND BURN - the Dead Weather's third album and first full-length release in five years - is available now for pre-order worldwide, with all digital pre-orders receiving instant grat downloads of "Cop and Go" and the electrifying first single, "I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)." Both singles are available individually from digital retailers everywhere; 12" Vinyl and CD pre-orders are also available at the official Third Man Store .
"Cop and Go," the latest single from DODGE AND BURN, premiered last week and was immediately greeted by international applause. NME hailed "Cop and Go" for its "hypnotic, snakelike groove" while Rolling Stone praised the "menacing new cut," noting, "guitar riffs play call-and-response on the dusky, reverb-soaked song as Mosshart sings on the infectious chorus." "Cop and Go" can be heard via the official Third Man Records SoundCloud .
The Dead Weather blew the roof off of New York City's Ed Sullivan Theater earlier this week with an electrifying performance of "I Feel Love (Every Million Miles)" on CBS' Late Show with Stephen Colbert . The appearance - which marked the band's first public live performance in five years - is streaming now at the official Late Show with Stephen Colbert YouTube .
Additionally, the Dead Weather just released the second of four technique and instrument-based videos, each showcasing a live version of tracks from the band's three albums. In this second episode, directed by Jack White, bass deconstructionist Jack Lawrence, reveals the secrets of how he achieves his distinct bottom end sound for The Dead Weather. The video - which concludes with an incendiary live performance of "Mile Markers" from DODGE AND BURN - is streaming now at the band's own TheDeadWeatherTV . Stay tuned for the two remaining videos in the series from The Dead Weather and Third Man Records.
The Dead Weather and Third Man Records have also announced a series of exclusive listening parties at select record stores around the world, with attendees also getting the chance to win limited edition DODGE AND BURN prizes.
