Can's Irmin Schmidt Awarded French Knighthood

IRMIN SCHMIDT AWARDED FRENCH KNIGHTHOOD
Spoon Records and Mute are happy to announce that IRMIN SCHMIDT, founder of legendary German band CAN, has been awarded a Knighthood - the Chevalier De L'Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres - for his contribution to arts and culture by the French Ministry of Culture.

As a German citizen the ceremony will take place in Berlin on February 10th, 2015 (strict invitation by French Embassy only).
