Cillie Barnes teamed with Warby Parker to record two new songs for their Artists In Residencecompilation. The tracks were recorded at The Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Cillie Barnes said, "I felt glamorous and indulgent: who stays in a hotel in their own city?" The resulting songs "In Pursuit of the Beast" and "Marty's Lament" along with the entire Artists In Residence Compilation is available now on iTunes.
Earlier this year RAC reworked "Veranda" from Cillie Barnes' Happy Valley EP. The track which is available as free download, has more than 400,000 plays on Soundcloud and 300,000 plays onMajestic Casual's Youtube channel. Cillie Barnes also released a cover of The National's "Sea Of Love" which is available to share here.
