February 27, 2026—Rising singer, songwriter and musician Willow Avalon kicks off 2026 with the new single “Easy On The Eyes”—listen HERE.
“Easy On The Eyes” marks Avalon’s first new solo music since her debut album, Southern Belle Raisin’ Hell (January 2025), which cemented her as one of country music’s most compelling new voices. Taste of Country and Whiskey Riff named the project one of the best country albums of 2025, with the latter saying, “Willow is a star, with talent in spades, and who has a long future ahead of her for her pure talent and songwriting savvy that, together, make a lethal combination that puts her in a league of her own.”
The song comes as Willow concludes a run of headline dates across the U.K. and Ireland—including London’s Electric Ballroom and Dublin’s The Academy—and ahead of festival dates across the globe. In April, Avalon will make her official Stagecoach debut, following a surprise appearance during Zach Bryan’s headline set last year. Further festival dates include C2C Rotterdam and BerlinCMC Rocks QLDRailbird Festival, Headwaters Country Jam and more. Full details and ticket information can be found at www.willowavalonmusic.com.
Originally from Georgia and now based in Nashville, Willow Avalon’s musical journey began with her first word, “Elvis.” Raised by her mother and grandmother in a small Southern town, she grew up playing piano in church and taught herself guitar at age 12, using songwriting as both an escape and a means of self-expression through a life-journey that has been anything but straight-forward. She has performed at The Late Show with Stephen ColbertCBS Mornings, and the Grand Ole Opry, as well as festivals like Stagecoach, C2C, CMA, and Lollapalooza, bringing her electrifying presence to global audiences. With a sharp wit and rebellious spirit, she has shared stages with legends and rising stars alike, including Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Zach Bryan, Cage the Elephant, Paul Cauthen, Charles Wesley Godwin, and more. Solidified by sold-out headline tours in North America, Europe, and Australia, as well as hundreds of millions of views across social content, Willow Avalon is redefining what it means to be a modern Southern storyteller.

ODESSEY AND ORACLE (MONO REMASTERED) OUT NOW
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees and “British Invasion” pioneers, The Zombies, today announce the forthcoming re-release of their debut album Begin Here (Mono Remastered) via their own label Beechwood Park Records on April 17th . The album, the second of four definitive physical reissues from their catalog, follows the release of Odessey & Oracle (Mono Remastered) and includes the classic songs “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No,” “It’s Alright With Me,” “The Way I Feel Inside,” and their beloved version of George Gershwin’s “Summertime.” This definitive new edition combines all 17 tracks from the UK and US versions of The Zombies’ 1965 debut album, remastered in its original mono mix. The release is again being overseen by Matthew and Jamie White (sons of founding member Chris White), mastered by Reuben Cohen at Lurssen Mastering, and brand-new liner notes by the legendary David Fricke. The album will be housed in a single pocket jacket with poly-lined sleeves and an insert.

Begin Here (Mono Remastered) is available for pre-order on all formats here.

Colin Blunstone shares about the release, “thinking of The Zombies first album Begin Here immediately triggers wonderful memories of late-night sessions in Decca’s West Hampstead studio fueled by pure excitement and adrenaline. These tracks changed all of our lives forever and I am forever grateful. I look back on them with wonder and a great deal of affection!” Rod Argent of the band also adds, “The Zombies’ Begin Here re- release basically follows the American original, which adds the E.P. which came out in the UK soon after “She’s Not There” in the UK, but was never released in the US. Unbelievably, as was the way in those days, we had a day and a night only to Record, and generally the songs were recorded as first takes!”The band today also share the mono remastered version of “It’s Alright With Me” along with a lyric video for the song. Listen to “It’s Alright With Me (Mono Remastered)” here and watch the lyric video here.

The album also includes new liner notes from famed writer, David Fricke. Read an excerpt below:

Begin Here, the British debut album by the Zombies, was released by Decca Records on April 9th, 1965. The LP, issued only in mono, was 14 tracks of beat-boom R&B and dynamic songwriting by one of the hottest young groups in the country. And it was born here: Watford Town Hall in the county of Hertfordshire on May 10th, 1964. Singer Colin Blunstone, keyboard player Rod Argent, bassist Chris White, guitarist Paul Atkinson and drummer Hugh Grundy were from the nearby city of St. Albans and one of ten bands in the final round of the Herts Beat Competition, a battle of the combos sponsored by the London Evening News.

The Zombies – all in their teens except for White, who was 21 – got the closing slot and won the grand prize, £250 (about $3300 today), with a set that included their jazz-waltz twist on George Gershwin's "Summertime" and a breakneck rocker, "It's Alright With Me," Argent's first, original tune. "When we won, my overriding feeling was 'Maybe there is a way forward for us,'" Blunstone recalls. "I never dared to think that before." Grundy remembers feeling nervous but confident: "We stood a good chance of winning. We knew we were that little bit different."

The Zombies recorded Begin Here on two days in late November and a third day in December before flying to New York where they opened at the Brooklyn Fox Theatre on Christmas Day with R&B idols Chuck Jackson, the Shirelles and Ben E. King, part of DJ Murray the K's Big Holiday Show. But the album did not come out in Britain for four months. And it never charted. Begin Here would be the Zombies' only Decca LP.

The Zombies’ four surviving founding members, lead singer Colin Blunstone, keyboardist Rod Argent, bassist Chris White, and drummer Hugh Grundy, along with Helen Atkinson, the widow and Estate Trustee of late guitarist Paul Atkinson, acquired the rights to their catalog in 2023 from Marquis Enterprises Ltd., the independent UK production company they originally signed with as teens in 1964. Q Prime is managing all aspects of manufacturing, distribution and licensing for The Zombies’ new label imprint Beechwood Park Records, with a catalog that includes the timeless hit singles “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No,” and “Time of the Season.” Of the partnership, Q Prime co-founder Cliff Burnstein says, "There's a very narrow window in a Venn diagram where love, admiration and business overlap. That’s what the deal is all about.” Q Prime boasts full label creative and digital marketing teams have offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville and London.

Additionally, Primary Wave Music has formed a strategic marketing alliance with the band which will see the publisher provide marketing support alongside the team at Q Prime. The Zombies and their team will now have access, not only to Primary Wave’s marketing team but also their branding, content, digital, and sync departments.

The Zombies publishing catalog is represented by Wise Music Creative. Hung Up On A Dream: The Zombies Documentary is now available globally for rent and download at Apple TV, Amazon Prime and Altavod here.

Angèle ft. Justice Release “What You Want”, Plus thrilling (LA)HORDE Directed Music Video

ANGÈLE RETURNS
RELEASES “WHAT YOU WANT”
IN COLLABORATION WITH JUSTICE HERE

PLUS (LA)HORDE DIRECTED MUSIC VIDEO HERE

Today, the Belgian pop phenomenon Angèle returns with her new, electrifying single, aptly titled “What You Want” crafted alongside the French electronic powerhouse duo Justice. “What You Want” is out now on Angèle VL Records / Because Music, and hits with the kind of force and clarity that only supreme pop achieves. The song arrives alongside a video, created with (LA)HORDE (Madonna, Sam Smith, Christine and the Queens), the visionary trio behind the Ballet National de Marseille.

The track feels like a pivot in Angèle’s catalog: a hinge moment that arrives in the glow of her 2024 Paris Olympics performance, where she joined Phoenix and Kavinsky for an electric take on “Nightcall” that stole the show and broke Shazam records. After all the billions of streams, the Dua Lipa collaboration “Fever”, her Netflix documentary titled AngèleCHANEL high-fashion campaigns, NYC Fashion Week with A$AP Rocky, and her first U.S. tour - including Coachella - this song feels like a continuation of Angèle’s big global moment, this time sharpened and unpolished.

Angèle reflects: “I went to say hi in their dressing room after their show, which I’d loved. It was the first time we met, and we talked a lot about our careers and our creative visions. I spontaneously suggested they come to the studio. We spent an afternoon listening to the demos I’d been working on on my computer. I had this track, ‘What You Want,’ a slightly sultry, sensual, offbeat song I’d written. But since I wasn’t completely satisfied with it, I’d put it aside. I thought Justice could bring the electro-club expertise — and the tension — that were missing from that first version. After we met, I sent them the demo, and they came back with this version that I found absolutely brilliant. They understood everything! They brought a power to the track that the intention and balance had been missing. Bringing our worlds together without losing our identities — that’s the greatest success of this song!”

Justice’s Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé share: “Spending a bit of time with Angèle confirmed the intuition we had about her: she’s an excellent musician and producer. Making ‘What You Want’ with her felt as easy as it was natural. Although her music is different from ours, the track called for something sensual and brutal that we instinctively connected with, without compromise.”

(LA)HORDE adds: “We wondered how, after the Olympic buzz around her collaboration with Phoenix and Kavinsky, a woman of her generation could make the codes of the French Touch her own — a powerful artistic movement, but also a very male-dominated one. We found it incredibly exciting to support this meeting between the fathers of electro and Angèle’s own universe.”

“What You Want” unites Angèle with Justice, the French electronic titans whose ebullient synths helped define the global sound of 2000s dance music. Angèle’s featherlight, intimate pop instincts meet Justice’s industrial swagger and rock-damaged grandeur. The result: electronic music that feels muscular without being macho, and pop that feels as emotionally precise as it does dangerous.

The collaboration began in December 2024, when Angèle attended a Justice show in Brussels with her mother. She met them backstage, invited them to her studio, and played them a song she loved but hadn’t fully unlocked. She told them, “Do what you want with it.” They transformed it into “What You Want.” Justice delivered the scale and tension, Angèle delivered the presence and sheer magnetism. Together, they made a track that feels global and entirely of the gritty, unglossed moment.

She sings in English and French, moving between private feeling and collective release: “What you want / I’m only / What you want / c’est pour la vie,” she purrs. Shot in the middle of the night on an iPhone 17 Pro, in the backstreets of Marseille — between a laundromat, the street, and a bar — the video extends this story of love and female empowerment in a highly cinematic way. It also invites dancer Nora Monsecour into a breathless chase driven by desire, with Angèle embodying the figure who breaks taboos and prejudices along the way. The iPhone 17 Pro becomes a narrative tool in its own right, serving the choreographic work imagined by (LA)HORDE, staying close to bodies and faces, following movements with fluidity while capturing the density of the night. Angèle appears, as always, commanding and magnetic; a pop girlie moving through the nighttime scene with grit and grace.

“What You Want” stands as a bold new declaration. It captures a pop star in ascension, an artist aligned with her desires, and with a sound that feels in lockstep with the times.

Angèle isn’t coming. She’s already here.

THE ART GRAY NOIZZ QUINTET is spearheaded by twisted Australian guitar legend STU-ART GRAY, most notoriously known as STU SPASM of LUBRICATED GOAT, CRUNT, SALAMANDER JIM, and THE BEASTS OF BOURBON. Adding another crazed chapter to an already solidly sordid musical history, THE ART GRAY NOIZZ QUINTET stars some of the finest scoundrels of the New York City underground scene - SKELETON BOY of WOMAN on two-string bass, NIKKI D'AGOSTINO on sax, and veteran drummer RICH HUTCHINS of LIVE SKULL providing the savage, swinging beat. A rotating roulette of characters swagger into the second guitar slot as needed, each showcasing their particular specialty - twang, treble, or atmosphere. Stuart Gray's wayward path through the flashpoints of noise, grunge, and swamp-rock history is well-represented in the Quintet's sound - chaos with a cinematic edge. Sharing stages with kindred spirits such as THE SCIENTISTS and MUDHONEY got the attention of audiences early on. Their recordings and incendiary gigs throughout the New York scene and beyond soon caught the eye of the infamous LYDIA LUNCH, and it was only a matter of time before a new collaboration was born . . .

Now, THE ART GRAY NOIZZ QUINTET collide with the queen of no wave, LYDIA LUNCH, on a new two-fisted ten-inch single . . . Melting the MAGAZINE classic "PERMAFROST", and grinding out an apocalyptic version of IGGY POP's "MASS PRODUCTION".  Only on IN THE RED RECORDS . . .

The band have just announced a record release show at TV Eye in NY on Friday, March 13th. Special guests include Genre Is Death, Skull Practitioners, Kilynn Lunsford, and Weegee. Tickets available here

"There's only a few bands that are really impressive to me right now. THE ART GRAY NOIZZ QUINTET are the best band in New York . . ." - LYDIA LUNCH, THE WIRE 2025
