The series is airing now, and U.S. audiences can stream exclusively via Crunchyroll. “Adrena,” the opening theme song, pairs an up-tempo, playful sound with rapid momentum, underscoring the series’ lighthearted romantic energy. Originally serialized in the magazine Hana to Yume from 1996 to 2004, Hana-Kimi has sold over 17 million copies and remains a beloved classic even 20 years after its conclusion. “It’s a true privilege and we are humbled by this opportunity,” the duo details. “Hana-Kimi has resonated with the youth of so many and continues to be beloved by many today… We will do our utmost to bring this story to life through both its beginning and its end.” 2025 was a big year for the J-pop superstars—they performed as special act for Billie Eilish for one of her headline dates in Japan. In March, they journeyed back to the states for a performance at “matsuri ’25: Japanese Music Experience LOS ANGELES.” The duo saw a landmark headline show this summer in London at OVO Arena Wembley, as well as took the stage at Primavera Sound in Barcelona. Summer 2024 saw their first ever show at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, followed by Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. They also played Chicago’s beloved Lollapalooza music festival. These performances followed their Coachella debut, and sold-out shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco earlier in the year. In the beginning of 2025, they completed their largest Asia arena tour to date—also the largest arena tour by a Japanese artist ever.  Comprised of composer Ayase and vocalist ikura, YOASOBI are record-breaking international superstars in the making. Band of Horses Announce Everything All The Time (20th Anniversary Edition), Out March 20

Today, Band of Horses announce they will celebrate the 20th birthday of their Gold-certified 2006 debut album Everything All The Time with a newly expanded 20th Anniversary Edition, out on March 20, 2026 via Sub Pop. The expanded 19-track edition is accompanied by an additional LP of bonus tracks, including the 2005 tour EP, a trove of previously unreleased studio and live tracks, and rarities like “The End’s Not Near” (as featured on The O.C.) and a demo version of the double Platinum single “The Funeral.”
 
The album has been fully remastered for the anniversary edition, with the artwork refreshed and expanded into a gatefold jacket, including new liner notes by the album’s producer, Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, Built To Spill, Modest Mouse, Father John Misty).
 
In his liner notes, Ek shares:
“I’ve always believed that albums need to feel special and should transcend the recording process. I want records that I produce to feel like you can walk into them, to have a three-dimensional depth. The music should stay as fresh and exciting as the first time you heard it. Achieving this requires a lot of time, trust, and effort in the studio, but it pays off in the end. Twenty years on, I still think Everything All The Time exemplifies this fully.”
 
Reflecting on the anniversary, Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell adds:
“This album made all of my dreams come true. Forever grateful for the desperation that fueled its inspiration.”
 
Everything All The Time (20th Anniversary Edition) will be available worldwide on double LP, CD, and digital platforms. The digital edition includes additional bonus tracks not available on the vinyl release. LP preorders in North America via the Sub Pop Mega Mart, the band’s official website, and local record stores will receive the limited Loser Edition on metallic gold vinyl. UK and EU preorders via Mega Mart Europe will receive the Loser Edition on opaque yellow vinyl.
 
Also out today is the previously unreleased fan favorite “(Biding Time Is a) Boat to Row,” accompanied by a new official video directed by James Ayling of Cape Films. Band of Horses will celebrate the release with a spring headlining anniversary tour. An Evening With Band of Horses: Celebrating 20 Years of Everything All The Time begins Thursday, April 9 in Portland, ME at State Theatre, and concludes on Saturday, May 2 in Columbia, MO at Rose Park. 
 
Fan presales begin today at 12 p.m. EST. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, January 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
 
Ahead of the tour, the band will also perform a series of Seattle anniversary shows surrounding the album’s release, including an all-ages show on Thursday, March 19 at The Vera Project and a two-night stand at The Showbox on Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22.

US dream-pop duo Magic Wands have released a brand new single entitled ‘Sacred Mirrors’ today. The song is a collaboration with guitarist John Ashton, best known as a member of the iconic post-punk rock group The Psychedelic Furs who played a key role in all seven of their album releases made between 1980 and 1991.
The group went on hiatus soon after and Ashton became a producer, working with Marianne Faithfull and The Sisters Of Mercy (he had also produced their classic 1982 single, ‘Alice’), but he remained with the Furs for another eight years following their reformation in 2000. He released the solo album ‘Satellite Paradiso’ in 2016.

“I fell in love with Magic Wands via a friend who sent me some of their music,” states Ashton. “The songs immediately drew me in via the visions and emotions they imparted on my psyche. I was hooked and wanted more, finding it in songs like ‘Across The Water’ from their latest album, ‘Cascades’. To say I was inspired to write new music would be an understatement. I was recently interviewed for the Sticky Jazz podcast HERE and mentioned that I had been listening to the new record, and it turned out the host was also a fan of the band and hooked me up! ‘Sacred Mirrors’ was inspired by their music and I am honoured to have been given the opportunity to collaborate with them on this.”

The feeling is mutual, with Magic Wands (Dexy and Chris Valentine) declaring that “we have always been fans of The Psychedelic Furs and John has a certain style of guitar playing that strikes its own emotional chord with us. We love his solo song ‘Invisible’, his production on ‘Alice’ by The Sisters of Mercy, and of course his incredible guitar work on Furs songs such as ‘Pretty in Pink’, ‘Dumb Waiters’, ‘Into You Like a Train’, ‘Heartbreak Beat’ and ‘Until She Comes’.”

Ashton sent an instrumental track already entitled ‘Sacred Mirrors’ to the band, who promptly added an additional guitar, keyboards, percussion and vocals, with Dexy adding lyrics and Chris then producing and mixing the finished song. “The song is based around John’s title but approached from a more spiritual perspective,” explains Dexy. “We are all sky gazers, so it includes imagery about the sky, sea, moon and stars. It’s a love song for outsiders about reflections and dreaming of endless possibilities. It has definitely inspired us to get back to writing from a lighter side rather than the shadow, which we dove deep into on both ‘Cascades’ and our ‘Switch’ album before that. We needed to be brought back to a more uplifting side of making music, and the DNA of John’s songwriting has helped us to do just that.”

Formed in Nashville by vocalists/guitarists Dexy and Chris Valentine, but now based in Los Angeles, Magic Wands are known for a shimmering, dreamy sound that melds elements of shoegaze, dream pop, post-punk and goth. Their music utilises heavily textured guitars, synth drones and ethereal vocals to conjure an otherworldly atmosphere, plus song lyrics that are emotionally engaging.

The duo’s sixth album, ‘Cascades’, was released in October 2025 to enthusiastic reviews. Imbued with the spirit of centuries-old poetry, gothic romance and myth, it bridges the sound of their 2012 debut album 'Aloha Moon’ to more recent releases and includes the singles ‘Hide’, ‘Armour’, ‘Moonshadow’, ‘Across The Water’ and ’Time To Dream’.
