Bill Hicks’ legacy has been compiled into one comprehensive box set to capture every commercially released album and special as well as over ten hours of unreleased performances pulled from Bill's own collection of shows he recorded over his many years of touring, and a photo book and a photo book with many rare and never before seen photos. Once again Bill’s work will step into the spotlight and be enjoyed by and influence another generation of comics and fans.

Hicks tackled a wide range of social issues including religion, politics, consumerism, the media, and popular culture in a dark and controversial way. During the 1990s, he toured the United States and the U.K. extensively and made a number of high-profile television appearances.  On February 26, 1994 at the age of 32, he died of pancreatic cancer in Little Rock, Arkansas. In subsequent years, his work gained a large amount of acclaim and he developed a strong following among a broad range of audiences around the world. He was named fourth greatest comedian of all time by London's Channel 4 and 19th by Comedy Central.

Having played in the U.K. and U.S. to promote the release of their new album, "The Door Behind The Door", with sold out shows in NYC and London, The Black Ryderwill be embarking on a run of headlining west coast dates in August. The band will also be re-joining The Jesus & Mary Chain on the second leg of their U.S. tour, following their previous critically acclaimed sold out North American dates together.

The band has earned a reputation as a formidable live act, noted as a highlight of the Levitation festival in Austin by fans and media whilst performing alongside such iconic artists as Tame Impala, Primal Scream and Spiritualized. Their album, "The Door Behind The Door", has been praised as one of 2015's most significant releases, and with Jim Reid of the Jesus & Mary Chain in attendance at their compelling in-store performance at Amoeba Music in San Francisco and numerous accolades from the press, the allure of The Black Ryder is undeniable.

Kim and the Created has announced the line-up for her October residency at The Echo, which starts October 5^th and continues every Monday through the month. The weekly residency is jam packed with local favorites such as, Deap Vally, Sex Stains, Mind Meld, Walter, Audacity, LA Witch and many more! The last show of the residency will be presented by Lolipop Recordsat the Echoplex and will feature a very special line-up to be announced soon.

The second night of the residency will also serve as the release show for her new EP Get Go, which features two new songs that were recorded at Lolipop Records. A cassette of the release will be available via Lolipop Records October 12^th.

Kim and The Created is the brainchild of local artist and musician Kim House. What started as a private, lo-fi recording project she created in her apartment quickly grew moments after a friend played some of her tracks on local radio station KXLU. Just two weeks later, she played her first live show by piecing together members of local bands. That trend has continued over 2 years later racking up 35+ band members! With the ever-evolving cast, wild bodysuits, heavy punk-garage anthems, and intensely strange, captivating stage show- Kim and The Created will rattle you to your bones.
