San José, Costa Rica-based six-piece Las Robertas has released their first new album in three years, All We Need Is Now, via Kanine Records and on Spinda Records in Spain. Combining elements of '60s psychedelia and the '90s alt-rock and shoegaze scenes, it features nine tracks of hazy, sun-tinged psych rock that draw inspiration from bands like The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Lush, Ride, and Chapterhouse. Through lush, dreamy soundscapes, All We Need Is Now explores themes of overcoming fear, living in the present, and evolving on a personal and spiritual level. Recorded in San José by Adrián Poveda and mixed & mastered in Buenos Aires, Argentina by Estanislao Lopez, it's a celebration of the beauty of Las Robertas' home country. Cover art by Costa Rican artist Juliana Quesada features the Central American morpho butterfly, a symbol of evolution and seizing each day.  Having toured extensively — performing at festivals like Coachella, Levitation, Primavera Sound, and NRMAL and opening for acts like Pearl Jam, Warpaint, and Chapterhouse — Las Robertas will tour Europe and Latin America later this year in support of their new release.
