(October 17, 2025) - In the middle of an international tour with sold-out dates in Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Colombia, Cazzu shares “Balada Malvada”, a song that marks a new chapter in her musical journey. With a romantic and emotional imprint, it explores her most intimate and vulnerable side.
The release is part of the universe of Latinaje: La Novela, a story written by Julieta that expands the album’s narrative through a virtual and immersive experience. Each show on the tour reveals a new chapter of the story, turning every date into a key episode within this tale that blends music, fiction, and performance.
“Balada Malvada” is accompanied by a music video directed by Alan Olmedo and Cazzu, which continues to expand the narrative universe of Latinaje. In the video, Cazzu appears both vulnerable and fierce, in a story that transforms pain into a ritual full of beauty and drama. With visually symbolic staging, the video offers a sensory journey where the everyday becomes a spectacle, reaffirming La Jefa’s most artistic and performative side.
The release follows the success of her latest album Latinaje, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Latin Albums and has amassed over 675 million streams. The album also broke records, with five music videos from the project reaching the global No. 1 spot.
Songs like “Con Otra” surpassed 368 million streams, earning a Platinum certification in Argentina and becoming the biggest debut in history by an Argentine solo artist on YouTube. In Mexico, the álbum also received Platinum certifications for “Con Otra” and Gold for “Dolce” and “La Cueva”.
The release of “Balada Malvada” comes during a standout year for Cazzu. In 2025, she was recognized as Spotify’s Equal Global Artist, a title that celebrates her impact on the international scene and her role as a leading figure in a new generation of women in music.
Additionally, during her Latin American tour, she captivated over 40,000 fans across three sold-out shows at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, where she brought the universe of Latinaje to life on stage with artistry, theatricality, and emotion. Following the success of these shows, she added another date for November 1st.
