NEW CANDYS the new single, Crime Wave, is out today + tour dates

Our new single, Crime Wave, is out today — and it’s the last one before we release the full album, The Uncanny Extravaganza, coming May 30 via Fuzz Club. It’s probably the heaviest track on the record, with lyrics that feel like they could have been written by The Joker himself.   We’re starting our first shows this month, and we’ll already be performing the new setlist. We’ve reworked the arrangements of our older songs to match the sound of the new album, and we’re really happy with how the entire show sounds. Thanks for all your support so far!

FINAL SINGLE 'CRIME WAVE'

Here’s what Fernando says about the track: “Crime Wave was the first song we worked on together. We’ve refined it through live performances, as it’s been the only track from the new album in our setlist since 2023. When it came time to record, we aligned it more closely with the rest of the album by incorporating additional electronic elements, and it resonated with us even more. For some reason, I always associate heavy, raw, and deliberately 'ignorant' songs with something warlike, maybe because that same kind of ignorance lies at the heart of war itself. The lyrics take the perspective of a mad revolutionary who eventually loses control of the revolutionaries themselves.”

The Uncanny Extravaganza is now available for pre-order in two versions: the standard edition on 180g orange vinyl or the limited gatefold edition with alternative artwork, on 180g transparent aqua green vinyl. It is also available in a digipack CD version.
