Today, Rahim Redcar (FKA Christine and the Queens) announces the release of his new album HOPECORE on September 27th. Entirely written, produced, and mixed by Rahim, the artist is thrilled to share this next body of work with everyone. The first single, “DEEP HOLES” out today comes with a visual poem made by the artist.
“Hopecore was made with tears, blood, and mostly an unwavering faith in the raw, pure expression of the soul. Music took here its full prophetic vastness, got wilder, and called for an absolute quest where no one else came in to tamper with intentions. A call of the flesh, a prayer for justice and freedom.” - Rahim states.
HOPECORE will first be performed in a string of club dates to be announced soon.
The artist recently performed to 10 million viewers as part of the Paris 2024 Paralympics Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, 28 August, where he performed a spectacular rendition of Édith Piaf’s “Non, je ne regrette rien” and a riveting rendition of Patrick Hernandez’s “Born to Be Alive”.
He also performed a rendition of “Supernature” with Cerrone at the final Paris 2024 Ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe on Saturday, 14 September.
HOPECORE rings in a new era after the 20-track-long epic opera PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE (2023), and its accompanying predecessor Redcar les adorables étoiles (2022).
