Photo credit: Alex Carter NYC’s notorious shapeshifting duo White Hills have shared a new video for single "Killing Crimson", taken from their philosophy-inspired album ‘Beyond This Fiction’, which is set for release on August 23rd via on Heads On Fire Records.    Inspired by the ideas of Joseph Campbell, the writer/philosopher known for The Power of Myth, the album explores the idea of “riding between opposites”- forging one’s own path unrestrained by the collective “fiction” that the masses subscribe to. It’s a cry to all the seers among us- call us outsiders or rebels- who feel smothered by convention and see nonconformity as the gateway into divine mystery.   The band’s guitarist, vocalist and synth player Dave W describes lead single "Killing Crimson" as “a volcanic guitar riff that flows like lava down the mountainside steaming into the ocean.” Today they have shared a new video for the track, featuring Dave & Ego Sensation (drums/bass/vocals) romping around Manhattan’s iconic Cortlandt Alley, tucked between Chinatown and Tribeca. According to Ego: “These streets preserve that mythical cinematic essence of NYC that you see all over films.
