Ladytron Achieves Monumental Year - 'Times Arrow' Praised by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork + More

As the curtain falls on 2023, we're excited to share the monumental journey Ladytron embarked on this year—a testament to their enduring influence and innovation as the iconic band they’ve become. Ladytron's seventh studio album, Time's Arrow, made waves as a dystopian, beatific masterpiece, securing a coveted spot on Rolling Stone's 'Best Albums of 2023 So Far' list and has been landing in many “Best of the Year” lists from the UK’s Piccadilly Records and PopDose Mag who boasted that the LP “delivers the chills and feels in all the right places.”  Pitchfork also lauded Time's Arrow,  acknowledging that it “proves just how intoxicating Ladytron’s enduring brand of atmospheric synth pop can be.” Listen to 'Time's Arrow' Here The band’s seminal single “Destroy Everything You Touch” also made headlines this year, most recently featured in Emerald Fennell's highly praised film and soundtrack for Saltburn which has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Earlier in the year they kicked off the summer with dance maestro Space Motion’s remix of the fan favorite. It added another layer to Ladytron's year, garnering support from heavyweight DJs such as FISHER, Armin van Buuren and Camelphat. Sold-out headline performances underscored their unwavering appeal and connection with fans, while Ladytron also graced stages at summer festivals across Europe, US and Latin America, including standout performances at Just Like Heaven, CRSSD, and ending the year with a show stealing set at Mexico City’s Corona Capital.  Capping off the year on the highest of notes, Ladytron gifted their fans with a surprise holiday single two decades in the making, “All Over By Xmas.”  Listen Here Cut from the same cloth as Time's Arrow, Ladytron orchestrated the holiday season with an uplifting soundtrack, with Vanyaland claiming “Ladytron may have captured the season’s most magical effort,” and Brooklyn Vegan “Ladytron’s icy synthpop sound turns out to be a perfect (wintry) mix with the holiday season."  The single continues to make the top of  “Best of holiday song playlists"  from all corners The Philadelphia Inquirer to LA’s Buzzbands and SF’s Live 105.
