Pop innovator Caroline Polachek has released the long awaited physical version of one of 2023’s most critically-revered albums, Desire, I Want To Turn Into You. Desire has solidified Polachek’s status as a cultural force, featuring singles like the anthemically euphoric “Welcome To My Island,” the irreverent and elusive “Bunny is a Rider,” flamenco-inspired “Sunset” and choral masterpiece “Billions”. As part of the physical release, Polachek will be holding in-person record signings to celebrate the album’s long-awaited physical release this Sunday at Rough Trade in NYC and Tuesday, November 5th at Amoeba in LA.

Last month, Caroline also released her first single since the album’s release, “Dang,” filled with surrealist lyrics and pounding production. She debuted a special live performance of “Dang” for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, wherein she presented a fever-dream inspired Ted Talk with an appropriately bewildering slide presentation.
