April 28, 2023 – Today, Anna of the North has shared the expanded, deluxe edition of her acclaimed third studio album Crazy Life, now available on all streaming platforms. The deluxe is heralded by bouncy lead single “Ridin,” cowritten by Anna, Jens Resch, and Marcus White. In tandem with the release, Anna has shared the official video for “Ridin,” featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Anna’s life on the road during her recent Crazy Life Tour through major cities across Europe and North America – watch HERE. The Crazy Life Deluxe vinyl is now available for pre-order, arriving June 30. “I feel like ‘Ridin’ is a song you put on when you need a reminder that life goes on even when you feel like not participating. It’s about having a hard time moving on, and knowing the only way out is through,” Anna explains. On the deluxe Anna adds, “Crazy Life Deluxe is an extension of the crazy life universe. I wrote a lot of songs through this period of my life and the three bonus tracks are favorites of mine that didn’t make the original record but definitely deserve to see the light of day. I hope you enjoy them.” In addition to “Ridin,” Anna of the North’s Crazy Life Deluxe features recent bonus singles, “Swirl” and “Try My Best,” the former of which was hailed as a “song you need to know” by Rolling Stone. Co-written by Anna, Victor Rådström (NEIKED) and Marcus White, “Swirl” gives listeners buoyant pop production as Anna sings about falling into old patterns and becoming comfortable with dissatisfaction.
