Fresh off a sold-out UK tour, Craig Finn and the Uptown Controllers are jumping right back into a fall tour of North America. Kicking off on October 11 at Boston's Crystal Ballroom followed by a performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on the 12th, the dates will take the band through November 9, ending at Portland, OR's Old Church. The complete itinerary is below. A mix of artists are supporting the tour, with Annika Pyle and Good Looks splitting opener duties during the first leg, and Lake Street Dive’s Bridget Kearney & Benjamin Lazar Davis teaming up for leg two on the West Coast. These fall dates are in support of Finn's latest solo album, A Legacy of Rentals, available now via Positive Jams/Thirty Tigers in several formats, including digital download, CD, standard vinyl, and limited-edition white vinyl (online orders only). Recorded with Finn’s longtime collaborators, producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin, the album includes the singles “Messing With The Settings,” “Birthdays,” and “The Amarillo Kid,” all joined by official music videos streaming now on YouTube.

PRAISE FOR A LEGACY OF RENTALS: “The writing remains the main attraction in Finn’s work, and both as a storyteller and a rock songwriter, he has never sounded more in control. From the beginning, he had a gift for meticulous, vivid world-building, and his wordplay has gotten tighter as his subjects have come down to earth.” – Pitchfork
"The evolution of the Hold Steady singer’s solo career has been a welcome surprise...Working with a string section and muted electronics, Finn has crafted a record that feels like his version of Tunnel Of Love, with the fine singer-songwriter Cassandra Jenkins acting as his Patti Scialfa vocal foil." – Uproxx
“As usual, the people in Finn’s songs are vivid and compelling; few lyricists can match his talent for sketching such fully realized characters within the confines of a four- or five-minute song.” – Paste
“The storytelling details make Finn’s work well worth revisiting multiple times." – PopMatters
“Finn’s style has subtly shifted and the increased spoken word with fuller sounds are both welcomed additions.” – Glide
