Artist, producer and multi-instrumentalist French Kiwi Juice (FKJ) shares today the official music video for “Different Masks for Different Days” from his recently released second studio album V I N C E N T. The visuals, directed by Greg Barnes and starring choreographer and model Mès Lesne, follow the journey of a man dancing through the illuminated night street over the slow, cascading sounds of the track. Speaking on the single, FKJ recalls: “The inspo for this title came from the feeling of being a social chameleon. From time to time I would catch myself altering my being depending on who I was with. A weird feeling which made me write down this sentence “Different Masks For Different Days”. When we started working on the casting, Mès Lesne and I crossed paths through common friends in Paris. I was mesmerized by his dancing, as was Greg (director). We didn’t look any further, he was the one for this role.” The video arrives fresh off an appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Series which quickly garnered over a half million views within its first week. The live performance included tracks “New Life” and “IHM” from his recently released album V I N C E N T which garnered support from The New York Times, NPR, Hypebeast, Rolling Stone and more over the course of the rollout. The album signaled a new dawn for the consummate artist; a collaborator with the likes of Toro y Moi, Carlos Santana, Little Dragon and more, FKJ continues to cement himself as an artist in his own right. He continuously sells out headline tours across the globe with his acclaimed ‘one-man-band’ live shows, and boasts over 1B streams across all platforms for his music. FKJ will embark on a North American tour this fall, launching Thursday, October 6th in San Francisco and closing Saturday, November 12th in Mexico City.
