Following a sold out UK and European Spring tour and the release of her third EP Human which debuted at number 5 on the album charts earlier this year, dodie has shared her latest single "Guiltless", which premiered last night as Annie Mac'sHottest Record on BBC Radio 1. dodie explains "'Guiltless' is about a difficult topic that I could never talk about publicly, so I wrote about it instead. There are those complex relationships in life where there's so much love, but so much anger, disbelief, guilt, expectation and resentment. This is a song exploring that; from a safe, vague-ish distance, I hope!".
dodie has quickly become one of the most exciting artists on the rise in 2019, with a top 5 charting EP, over 563M streams, attention from the likes of Billboard, BuzzFeed, Bustle, BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac, Clara Amfo and Phil Taggart, BBC Radio 2's Jo Whiley, and more.
This Fall dodie will embark on a 22 date North American headlining tour in support of her Human EP. The tour will follow the sold-out UK and European Spring tour and will kick off on September 5th in Washington, D.C. hitting major markets in the US and Canada throughout October with shows slated at Terminal 5 in New York City, Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, and at the Riviera Theater in Chicago, before concluding at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 11th.
