The album is receiving early critical praise—Pitchfork hails as “alluring” and “catchy as
hell,” while Stereogumpraises Folick as a “masterful songwriter” and Paste Magazine proclaims, “Premonitions proves [Miya is] capable of framing her otherworldly, glistening pop as both intimate, grounding inner monologues and towering pop epics.” Premontions was co-produced with Justin Raisen (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX, Santigold and Angel Olsen) and Yves Rothman. The release of Premonitions comes on the heels of the recently released “Cost Your Love”—watch and listenhere.
