The UK-based, Mercury Prize nominated The Magic Numbers have already announced their long-awaited return this year, and are now sharing another track from the upcoming Outsiders LP. “Ride Against the Wind” tells the tale of a fictitious all-girl biker gang who’ve “grown tired of conforming and towing the line in their everyday lives, so they decide to stick two fingers up to the world, hit the road, and leave their old lives behind,” according to songwriter Romeo Stodart. Both sonically and lyrically wistful, the track marks less than two months til the release of the expansive Outsiders, the Magic Numbers’ first new material in four years. Outsiders will be released May 11 via Park the Van Records.
