On the heels of their sold out North American headline tour, First Aid Kit has announced select US shows this June. The band will play Raleigh, St. Louis, Kansas City, and Omaha around their performance at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Tickets go on sale Friday, 2/16 at 10am local time. First Aid Kit concluded their sold out 14-date run across North America last night at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The tour, in support of the duo’s fourth studio album Ruins,has been well received with City Pages applauding the live show for “transcend[ Americana” while Respect Your Youngers declares it “a must see, as the duo puts on a captivating performance from start to finish.” One of the many highlights has been First Aid Kit’s nightly rendition of “You Are the Problem Here,” which East Bay Times praises as the “most striking occurrence [of the night]... the crowd stood transfixed.”
