Sydney’s Middle Kids have spent the best part of the summer in the US playing shows around the country and putting the finishing touches on their debut record, slated for release in early 2018. The band wowed crowds from Lollapalooza in Chicago to the Celebrate Brooklyn! Summer Series in New York City, living up to hype previously established by outstanding singles "Edge of Town" and "Your Love" and proving why they are poised to be one of the most notable break-out bands of the year. The band will conclude an eventful tour at Austin City Limits in October. All dates are listed below.

As part of Amazon Acoustics, an Amazon Original playlist feature, Middle Kids covered Blink-182’s "All The Small Things,” turning the pop punk classic to a sad country ballad. The playlist will also feature exclusively recorded songs from artists like Tift Merritt, Philadelphia punks Beach Slang, buzzworthy newcomers ALA.NI and Gabriel Garzon-Montano. “Amazon Acoustics” will be available for streaming exclusively through Amazon Music Unlimited and Amazon Prime Music at www.amazon.com/acoustics.

Press for Middle Kids:

“Heartfelt, clever ruminations at the intersection of indie rock and alt-country” - ROLLING STONE

"the sort of tracks that seem simple on the surface but reveal new flashes of brilliance with each pass, often in the form of an artfully slashing guitar riff or a passionately bellowed vocal from lead singer Hannah Joy.” - STEREOGUM

"Hannah's voice is a little Stevie Nicksie and the jangly guitars sound like they're lifted from an interstitial scene in Singles, but you know sometimes you hear a song and you just like it.” - NOISEY

"How does a band get this good, this quickly? ... the band’s first, self-titled EP is something we can’t seem to shut off." - BILLBOARD
