Ullages captures an immensely tumultuous time in the band's career. It's the sound of returning home to the reality of what it means to be young and struggling in Leeds, particularly on the heels of a lauded debut album that saw the band tour the world alongside legends like RIDE and perform on late night television for the first time. That grim juxtaposition is captured in the sound of the album -- something darker, yet decidedly more focused than their debut album.
