Laibach Announce Digi Deluxe / Remix Albums and Tour Dates

Laibach have announced details of the Spectre Digital Deluxe Album out on March 31st, 2015. The deluxe version of 2014’s Spectre will feature the original album plus bonus tracks and Spectremix, a remix album (also available separately on the same date).

Spectremix features remixes from Spectre from techno producer and DJ Marcel Dettmann, labelmatesDiamond Version (aka Olaf Bender and Carsten Nicolai), Sandwell District’s Function, longtime collaborator iTurk, Slovenian electro-pop band Torul, Scottish DJ and producer Alex Smoke, German DJ, producer, mastering engineer and co-founder of the Common Sense People event series,Konstantin Sibold and Slovenian producer, DJ and musician Gramatik.

In addition, the band will embark on a worldwide tour beginning next month in Germany, including a performance at the Kampnagel / Krass Festival in Hamburg on February 14th (with further dates to follow, full tour details below).

2014 saw the release of their latest album SpectrePitchfork announced that, “…there are some clever arrangements here,” while The Guardian wrote, With the release of new album Spectre… they openly comment on Snowden, WikiLeaks, protest movements, the wobbling Euro and the Arab spring. Laibach are currently in the studio working on the original soundtrack for Iron Sky: The Coming Race, the follow up to the award winning film Iron Sky (Timo Vuorensola, 2012).
