Could a modest band of brothers, raised on their dad’s records in a tiny pink house in the

Midwest, be the saviours of rock’n’roll?”

“Watching the ascension of Radkey has been an undiluted joy to behold.”

Today, Kansas City punk band of brothers, Radkey, announce their new album Bedroom Sand will be released on July 14. Never abandoning the scrappy DIY nature that raised them, they called on the relationships they’ve made throughout their time as a band and connected with a like-minded professor at Syracuse University. During the summer break of 2025, the unlikely group snuck onto campus to record in the School of Music's state-of-the-art studio. The result is 8 songs of unyielding defiance — and the story of a band doing whatever it takes to make the music happen.

Along with the news of the upcoming record, today also sees the release of the new single “Ready To Burn.” Nostalgic and referential to the trio’s upbringing on the road, Radkey shows how easily they can take their influences and flip them into something entirely their own, always thinking about how it will translate to their live show — Stream / Watch the official video.

“We were thinking a lot about fun live songs for this record,” shared the band. “We got the idea for this bouncy sing along type song about being a nostalgic nerd growing up on the road. Staying up watching movies, playing video games and writing about the things that we love. We got a lot of fun references in there. Pillars of Eternity covers our love for the Obsidian RPG games, Pokemon covers the old anime that we're always watching and even a reference to one of our favorite bands, Local H, where we use the words ‘Bound for the Floor.’”

This summer, Radkey has tour dates scheduled around the Midwest, kicking things off this past weekend with their 4th annual RadFest in Kansas City. Known for their live shows, Radkey has received cosigns from the Foo Fighters, Jack White, and Rise Against to name a few. New dates will be announced soon here

ABOUT RADKEY:

Radkey are three brothers, homeschooled in a “shitty little pink house” in St. Joseph, Missouri. Raised on their dad's punk and metal records, they adopted the DIY ethos and fought against all odds to become one of the most authentic rock bands of the moment.

They were signed to a label that got bought out and found themselves with no one left on their team. They signed a publishing deal with a tech bro, who quickly vanished when crypto collapsed. They had a major agency booking them on ill-planned tours that only paid $250 a night. But overcoming setbacks is nothing new for Radkey.

Their upcoming album, Bedroom Sand, was recorded at Syracuse University during the summer of 2025 while students were gone for the summer. With help from a professor, Radkey snuck onto campus to record in the School of Music's state-of-the-art studio.

The new record, featuring the lead single “Victory,” is the band’s calling. They have persevered through it all and are the very definition of DIY: they book their own shows and tours throughout the country, and they self-release and market their records. They have taken back their rights and shown what true "Victory" is. And Victory is what one feels when they see the band perform live.

They are one of the most powerful live bands, earning co-signs from tourmates Foo Fighters, Jack White, Rise Against, Living Colour, The Offspring, the Descendents and Local H. Ask anyone and they'll tell you the same thing: to see Radkey live is to become a believer.
