January 22, 2026—Rising Katy, Texas singer-songwriter Blessing Jolie unveils the official music video for her breakout single “20teens” today—watch HERE. The track has recently been added into rotation at several national radio outlets, including Sirius XM’s Alt Nation, KEXP and WXPN, following a month of meteoric growth.
In late December, Blessing uploaded a short clip featuring “20teens,” shot in Blessing’s hometown of Katy, TX—it quickly catapulted her into the attention of hundreds of thousands of new fans, drawing support from Tyler, The Creator, Kehlani, Alemeda, Caleb Hearon, and more. The song is currently in rotation on SiriusXM Alt Nation, WXPN, KEXP and Radio Milwaukee, and is heavily playlisted across Spotify (All New Indie, The New Alt, New Noise), Apple Music, TIDAL and more streaming services.
The beautiful full-length music video for “20teens” shot by Cass Meyers (SZA) premieres today, which follows Blessing as she navigates the trials of an unfaithful relationship. The video was produced by Shotclock.
On the inspiration behind the video, Blessing shares, “Putting visuals to this song means everything—it makes the song feel worthy of being seen. I was born in the early 2000s, and my connection to that era now feels like memory filtered through time rather than something to recreate. That memory, over the era itself, was the real influence. The video leans into the feeling of a throwback while letting me tell my present-day story through that lens. Every scene translates what I went through—dialogue, clearing my head, strength, chaos—into visual form without losing meaning. It tells the whole story, and I’m truly appreciative of that.”
Blessing announces her debut album, 20nothing, will arrive this March. The project follows “20teens” and her debut single “Frown Lines,” which earned praise from Okayplayer, Blurred Culture, and more. “Frown Lines” is available to stream now—listen here and watch the official video here.
Raised in Katy, TX, Nigerian American 23-year-old Blessing began sharing guitar and singing videos online—her signature, impressive voice drew sizable buzz, as well as the support of Thirty Tigers, who signed on following the release of her debut EP the girl next door.
