June 21, 2024— West Coast rock trio Together Pangea returns with the jangly garage-rock single “Voice in My Head” featuring Reckling, a unique and mature take on Together Pangea’s classic sound that feels both fresh and familiar. The latest single comes off the coattails of the previous release, “Ativan,” and will be featured on their upcoming EP Misery, out September 13th. Listen to “Voice in my Head” here.
“Voice In My Head” is a duet between Together Pangea’s William Keegan and his now wife Kelsey Reckling of rising LA garage punks, Reckling. The song was born out of an intended solo album Keegan began recording during the pandemic, but once the rest of the band heard it, they knew they wanted to be involved. Evoking LA punk legends John Doe and Exene of X with somber acoustic guitars and call-in response vocals, the single remains a true standout of the upcoming Misery EP.
In addition, Together Pangea recently announced a late summer headline tour celebrating 10 years since the release of their acclaimed 2014 album Badillac. They will be playing the album in full each night, as well as new songs off Misery and fan favorites, with support from Liily. The tour begins on July 26th in San Diego and includes stops in New York City, D.C., Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Los Angeles, and more. See all dates here.
