Since last year’s release, Narrow Head’s Moments of Clarity has earned sprawling high acclaim for its masterful and fresh mix of pop, grunge and shoegaze. Traversing the depths of towering riffs, bouncing, lock-grooved rhythms, and crystalline, gorgeously constructed hooks, the Houston-based outfit puts on a masterclass in the art of writing songs that match the pain, pleasure, and confusion of modern living. Today Narrow Head are pleased to announce a special deluxe reissue which includes remixes from Lil Aaron, atlgrandma, Pictureplane, TRANS FX, stripmallravestarrr, cole3k, plus other guests - just in time for their Coachella performances and next U.S. run.

Moments of Clarity Deluxe Reissue will be released across all digital retailers and CD (for the first time) on May 3. The CD comes paired with a DVD that includes both Moments’ official music videos and a live session which features Narrow Head’s take on NY Hardcore mainstays, Crown of Thornz’s “Love Sick”. The cover is streaming today across all digital retailers.

Since their breakout year, Narrow Head have toured extensively worldwide and with an array of artists including support for Snail MailWhite ReaperTurnoverCitizenGatecreeper, etc and late last year released a split 7” with Momma. They’re set to perform at Coachella both weekends just ahead of their Spring U.S. tour which includes dates with Interpol, Sheer Mag, Dazy and more, plus performances at this year’s Aftershock and Louder Than Life Festivals. For a full list of dates, see below. Grab tickets here.

Acclaim For Moments of Clarity

“Topshelf if you’re into the grungy alt-rock and heavy emo of yore.” CONSEQUENCE

“magnetic and ferocious, packed with blaring guitars and unsettling textures” UPROXX

“The Texas grunge-gazers lean into ’90s nostalgia with both the aspect ratio of their new single and its sonic template, which nods to Hum and Smashing Pumpkins – with gargantuan distorted tones to match.” GUITAR WORLD

“It’s music one could stage-flip as well as stargaze to…” ALT PRESS [READ The Interview]

“a reverb-rich emo-grunge stomper with some serious force behind it” STEREOGUM

“Narrow Head are the new reigning kings of shoegazy grunge” REVOLVER

“heavy and acidified, but maintains a level of poppy buoyancy--singer and guitarist Jacob Duarte's voice cuts through the sludgier instrumental, shaping a cool, '90s-emo inspired jam.” BROOKLYN VEGAN

“a nostalgic brand of meaty shoegaze” KNOTFEST
