Earlier this year, Liily joined FIDLAR on a handful of tour dates and they additionally helped ring in 2023 by taking the stage as part of Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, hosted by multi-platinum-selling recording artist Miley Cyrus and global superstar Dolly Parton. Other performers that joined the popular NBC special included acclaimed singer-songwriter FLETCHER, breakout rapper Latto, viral hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, and chart-topping Grammy Award nominee SiaPlease Don’t Destroy, and comedy trio Sarah ShermanChloe Fineman’s Saturday Night Live also appeared.

Following their performance as part of the special, Liily received praise across social media, with users commenting: "Liily was the best performer outside of Miley last night," "Liily is the best band I've heard live on TV in forever," and "Liily just crushed it." Wheatus also chimed in with a tweet of his own.
They also received shout-outs from Music City MayhemStereogum (IG post, too), DORKAmerican SongwriterLoudWire, and more.

Aside from their live stints, Liily's newest single and most recent release "Applause" was met with acclaim from publications such as Consequence of Sound and FLOOD Magazine. It was also added to editorial playlists across Spotify (New Music Friday US, Norway, France, Egypt; The Rock List, New Noise - cover feature and #2 placement, and more), Apple Music (New in Rock, New Music Daily, Breaking Rock, and more), and Amazon Music (Fresh Rock, Breakthrough Rock, and more).

That release followed the 2021 drop of Liily's debut LP, TV or Not TV. The record was immediately praised with rave reviews from publications such as DORKDIYThe Line of Best Fit, and NME.

Stay tuned for more from Liily, coming this year via Flush Records.
