Desert Daze Launches Record Label In Partnership With Partisan Records DESERT DAZE SOUND Releasing Zango, First Album In almost 40 Years from Zamrock Legends WITCH Hear “Avalanche of Love” ft. Sampa the Great 

Today, the team behind Southern California’s acclaimed Desert Daze has announced the launch of their record label in partnership with Partisan Records, DESERT DAZE SOUND. The label will be home to a collection of musicians from around the world representing a variety of sonic ideas.  ”With the same philosophy driving the festival, Desert Daze Sound will be dedicated to facilitating the growth of artists that make the universe a better place,” notes Desert Daze and label founder, Phil Pirrone. “Partisan is psyched to be partnering with Desert Daze Sound,” adds Partisan Managing Director Zena White. “The imprint's inaugural studio album by Zamrock legends WITCH is going to have people dancing the world over.”   As their debut release, Desert Daze Sound is set to put out the first new album in almost 40 years from Zamrock legends and Desert Daze veterans WITCH. Due out on June 2nd, Zango is full of international and intergenerational collaborations that chart musical histories from Zambia and beyond. In addition to studio albums, Desert Daze Sound will launch their LIVE @ Desert Daze! vinyl compilation series featuring many of the celebrated sets from the festival. Stay tuned for additional information.  Desert Daze XI takes place October 12 - 15, 2023 at Moreno Beach in Lake Perris, CA. In 2022, the Los Angeles Times said the festival offered "one of the country’s best-curated lineups"; Variety noted that it was "a destination event for the free-spirited, open-minded, anti-commercial, pro-instrument music fan”; Alternative Press added that “the fest refracts hope and happiness at every turn"; and FLAUNT said, "Desert Daze has transformed into the premier arts and music celebration, bringing to the forefront an experience and community like none other in the festival world." Desert Daze also goes international this year, hosting the Desert Daze Stage at the Wide Awake Festival in London on May 27th.
