Today they have revealed set times and the event’s final lineup.  For over a decade now, Levitation has delivered lineups that span psych, punk, indie, metal, darkwave and electronic music – helping carry the spirit of 1960’s sonic experimentation into modern times. It’s a beloved record collection manifested into a 4 day weekend, with lineups that span continents and generations: a heady amalgamation of vintage gear, immersive light shows and visuals, buzzing amps, moody synths, leather jackets, and good times. Levitation 2022 headliners include The Jesus and Mary Chain, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard (performing two nights), event founders The Black Angels, and psych-punk warriors Osees powering through four nights of performances. Other highlights include influential Brazilian rock legends Os Mutantes, Africa’s groundbreaking 70’s Zamrock group W.I.T.C.H, Moon Duo present their 3D audio/visual installation performance Lightship, L.A. grunge icons L7 and Canadian post-rock titans Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Additionally this year’s lineup brings performances from Cold Cave, Protomartyr, OFF!, La Femme, Sunflower Bean, Superorganism, Hunx & His Punx, Automatic, Warm Drag, Heartless Bastards, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, She Past Away, Thee Sacred Souls, A Giant Dog and more.  Official Levitation venues include Stubbs, Mohawk, Empire, Hotel Vegas, Parish, Antone’s, Elysium, Scoot Inn, The 13th Floor and Chess Club. This year’s visual artists include artwork and creations by Mad Alchemy Light Show, Jason Galea, Bill Gazer, Camel Lights, Deep Trip, Phantastic Lights, Drip/Cuts, European Sun, Dr. Mojo, Underground Light Orchestra, Astral Visions, Vision System, Fever Dream Interactive, Astral Violet, Lysergic Lights.
