Naomi Wild shares “YOU + I”; joins ODESZA on North American tour

Today, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Naomi Wild released her third single, “YOU + I”, off her forthcoming debut album. The R&B-tinged ballad delves into Wild’s emotions as she expresses the deep-seated pain, remorse, and frustrations that follow unrequited love. Paired with a moving lo-fi visualizer, “YOU + I” depicts the undoing of a relationship and offers listeners a glimpse of what’s to come from Wild later this year. Remaining authentic, self-aware, honest, and vulnerable, Wild delivers a poignant heartfelt story via rich honey-soaked vocals as she turns pain into triumph.  Speaking on the track, Wild shares: “I wrote this song over two years ago during one of the worst months of my life - I was just in such a unique space mentally that I’d never been before. It was dark and unpredictable, like uncharted territory. Around that same time, I also got played pretty badly, so I just decided to talk my shit on the chord progression we built and ended up really loving it. I don’t even really remember writing many of the lyrics; it just kind of poured out of me, and I followed the feeling. That’s the best when that happens - felt like I was just floating on the track. It was honest- like directly from the subconscious.“ Today’s news arrives just before Wild joins Grammy-nominated electronic duo ODESZA on their North American amphitheater tour. Where she will be sharing the stage with San Holo, Elderbrook, Ben Bohmer, Tourist, Drama, and more on select dates. The Last Goodbye Tour kicks off in the duo’s hometown Seattle on Friday, July 29th, and is followed by stops in New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and more (full tour dates and ticket info below).  The acclaimed emerging artist has spent the last few years carving out her lane, writing and featuring on tracks with Machine Gun Kelly, Louis The Child, and more. Her latest collaborative track, “WHOSE LOVE” feat. fast-rising artist and friend Tempest has garnered the attention of media and fashion-forward influencers such as Kylie Jenner, Hailey Bieber, and Nessa Barrett on Tiktok.
