Acclaimed dream pop duo In The Valley Below have shared a new single, “Candy Hearts,” available now via Bright Antenna Records at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. Inspiration came from many past love affairs. It started with this cool, dark instrumental track where we sampled our friend's dog growling. The sound is buried deep now, but the feel permeates. It's dark and sweet."     “Candy Hearts” marks the conclusion of In The Valley Below’s major North American tour supporting legendary electronic pop pioneers Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. The tour concluded last month at Los Angeles, CA’s famed Greek Theatre.   # # #

(DOWNLOAD HI-RES ARTWORK)   # # #   Founded in 2011, In The Valley Below made their full-length debut with 2014’s critically acclaimed The Belt, highlighted by the worldwide hit single, “Peaches.” The track reached the top 20 on Billboard’s “Alternative Songs” chart, prompting high profile TV performances on CBS’ The Late Show With David Letterman and TBS’ Conan. After three years on the road – including headline tours, festival sets at such global events as Reading/Leeds, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Pukkelpop, and Rock En Seine, and support runs alongside Cold War Kids, Tricky, and Albert Hammond Jr, to name but a few – Mendel and Mattson relocated from Los Angeles to Grand Rapids, MI, where they built a full studio in a 100-year-old house.
