New York City art-rock icons BATTLES are set to take their incendiary live show around the globe through 2022 - find full dates and club show flyers below. The shows will be in continued support of their most recent full length, 2019’s Juice B Cryptswhich married synthesizer loops, cut-throat drum patterns, and cyclical riffs into a sensory overload of information that threw everything fans thought they knew about the storied group into flux once again.

In the course of promoting the album, BATTLES demonstrated their potency as a live unit in a session for Highsnobiety for which they performed Juice B Crypts singles “Fort Greene Park” and "Titanium 2 Step,” For the latter they were joined by New York City and no-wave legend Sal Principato (of Liquid Liquid); watch both performances paired with an interview with the band here: https://youtu.be/VNAgOXFv1RE

The band are currently working on new material that will form the follow up to 2019’s Juice B Crypts.

PRESS FOR JUICE B CRYPTS

“The kind of music that makes confusion feel like a pleasurable state.” - WALL STREET JOURNAL

"Drummer John Stanier and multi-instrumentalist Ian Williams lock together to form the inhumanly tight core of Juice B Crypts, slipping in and out of beats and loops with phenomenal precision" - AV CLUB

"The most cohesive start-to-finish listening experience in the band’s career” - PASTE

"Though Battles might be viewed from a distance as a potentially daunting listen, 'Juice B Crypts' provides multi-faceted kicks, whether on the dance floor, through the headphones, or riding, screaming with joy, on a rollercoaster.” - CHICAGO TRIBUNE

"'Juice B Crypts' is an engaging listen that’s a curious mix of exacting guitar and electronic tones that are laser-focused in their execution, as well as stuff that’s as arbitrary as hell: song fragments ending before they start, piano solos bookending the album and random collisions between men and machinery are positively glorious.” - ALTERNATIVE PRESS
