After making a splash this summer with the release, remix, and music video for “Galipette” (over 3M streams globally), budding global pop star Lolo Zouaï returns today with her new single “Scooter”. The track appropriately takes over where “Galipette” left off - remaining in the same vein of sweet and sour pop that Zouaï is known for, while effectively maintaining mesmeric confidence that can be found in each of her projects.
2021 has been nice to Lolo Zouaï as the pop phenom proudly boasts a nomination alongside Lil Nas X, Saweetie, and more for Best International Pop Video at the 2021 UK MVA’s for the official music video of “Galipette”, directed by Amber Grace Johnson (Jorja Smith, J Cole, Kali Uchis) starring Nia Dennis and other National Champions of the UCLA Gymnastics team. She is also hot off huge fashion week showings, performing at the Dior dinner in New York and the Ralph Lauren show in Paris. She has also recently featured in COACH’s 2021 Camo Campaign, her third with the iconic brand.
2022 is gearing up to be no different as more music, notable collaborations, and a new album are to come, and perhaps most anticipated, Zouaï will hit the road on a North America tour with Dua Lipa and Caroline Polachek as part of the rescheduled Future Nostalgia Tour.
An artist who combines multiple styles, genres, and sometimes even languages (between her two mother tongues French and English) Lolo Zouaï consistently delivers concise, sharp, and potent listens, further cementing herself as one poised for a commanding 2022.
